Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry(FICCI), with support of Department of Space and ISRO is organizing the 1st International Seminar on Indian Space Programme: Trends & Opportunities for Industry from November 20-21, 2017 at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi, India.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State, Prime Minister Office and Minister for Space will join as the Chief Guest and address the inauguration ceremony and Mr. Kiran Kumar, Chairman Space Commission, Secretary DOS and Chairman ISRO will be Guest of Honour. This seminar aims to leverage the scientific achievements of ISRO, strengths of Industry, in order to create an ecosystem which will facilitate a win-win partnership for Indian Space Sector for the benefit of global community. Global scientists, senior policy makers, global industry & technology leaders, niche researchers and leaders of global space associations will participate in the seminar. During the two-day seminar, the key ISRO Centres/Labs will be deliberating on critical aspects like Launch Vehicles, Propulsion, Satellites, Payloads and related technologies followed by focused deliberations on Capacity Building and Management and a Panel Discussion chaired by Mr. S Rakesh, Chairman, Antrix Corporation. Mr. S. Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary and Mr. Amitabh Kant, CEO Niti Aayog are also invited for the valedictory session.
