Celebration of Vishwa Hindi Diwas 2018 at Ashgabat Turkmenistan

 World Hindi Day(Vishwa  Hindi Diwas) is celebrated on 10th January. This year The Vishwa Hindi Diwas was celebrated at the Daulat Maammat Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages on January 11. The entire Faculty and students participated in the well organised programme in which Hindi Students recited poems in Hindi, sang Hindi songs, performed a play wearing Indian costumes.. The students were highly satisfied and grateful to the Government of India and the Mission for organising the study tour for students to Kendriya Hindi Sansthan. A video presented by the students on the occasion would certainly encourage those present at the event to visit India. 

The Rector, speaking on the occasion expressed gratitude for cooperation in Hindi Chair at the Institute and that they are understanding India much more deeply due to the language.

Ambassador Dr TV Nagendra Prasad speaking on the occasion congratulated the students, Faculty and Hindi Chair Ms Veena Joshi for a short and beautiful programme on the occasion by the students. He also highly appreciated President of Turkmenistan for his encouragement to institute various languages at the Institute. He gave away prizes to students and certificates to the teachers.
