25th Years of establishment of Diplomatic Relations between India and Turkmenistan

Thursday, April 20, 2017 marked the 25th anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relation between India and Turkmenistan. Greetings were exchanged byH. E Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Hon’ble Presidentand H. E Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India with H.E Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Hon’ble President of Turkmenistan. Greetings were also exchanged between Smt. Sushma Swaraj, Minister of External Affairs and Mr. Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign Minister. The messages echoed satisfaction at the growth of bilateral relations over the past 25 years and hope for further strengthening of cooperation for the mutual benefit of the peoples.
